"Competitive athletics for the sedentary professional."
The modern office is a deeply unsportsmanlike environment. Employees sit for eight or more hours per day, engaging in no athletic competition whatsoever, arriving home uncelebrated and unranked. There are no scoreboards. There are no trophies. There is no one to beat.
CT noticed this while sitting at his desk and felt something was missing. That something was competition. The other thing missing was physical activity, but we are addressing one thing at a time.
DeskSport Pro is an integrated office athletics platform that brings the competitive spirit of organized sports into the workplace without requiring anyone to stand up for more than ninety seconds at a time. The product suite includes:
The concept exists in its entirety as a twelve-slide deck and a foam ball CT has on his desk. Both are available for investor review upon request.
There are approximately 160 million workers in the United States. A significant portion of them work in offices. Offices have desks. Desks are where DeskSport Pro operates. The math writes itself, though CT has not yet written it.
We are targeting a B2B model in which companies pay a per-employee licensing fee to bring DeskSport Pro into their workplace, on the theory that companies spend money on wellness programs and this is similar, but with more competition and fewer yoga mats.
A pilot program has been proposed to one company, which was CT's previous employer. They have not responded. We consider this a soft yes.
CT — Founder and Commissioner. Invented ChairBall. Has extensive experience sitting at a desk. Was described by a former colleague as "competitive in a way that was sometimes a lot." Considers this a qualified endorsement.
Open Roles — Head of Rules Development (ChairBall regulations remain informal), VP of Enterprise Sales (to call the companies back), and one person to throw the javelin during demos so CT does not have to do it himself every time.
